i am 17 yrs old weigh 48kg and i am 157cm in height which is around 5'2
my mother is 5'2 and father around 5'7.5
is there any chance that my height can increase
my maternal grand parents r tall but my fathers mother was not very tall

if i can increase my height pls give some advise

do swimming, do cycling, do push ups...buld the rate slowly.......do yoga......
do it for six months........first note ur current height......then never do check in six months..when u havedone regular workouts for 6months..again look at the height



. dont care of what others says that if u are over a particular age its no use......coz.....all of us are different ppl.......most of them ...even though they know.....still arent concious that we all are having different charecteristics........so.....good luck mate.........!!!

Increasing the Height

You are under 18 years of age.

In rear cases, you can increase the height up to age 30.

Cycling is a good exercise and fun too.

You need to adjust the seat so that when you paddle from seating position you will actually stretch your legs, it is a difficult position but doable. For safety you need to be on track and not in traffic, safety first.

The FEW things I did at least helped me.

Swimming.

Not just playing in water, but serious laps type swimming, do not try to beat the clock but steady full strokes swimming. Remember slow and steady wins the race.

Stretching exercises on floor.

Find them on line.

Chin ups.

Full stretch type.

Swinging from a rope.

Full stretch climbing.

In other words do things that require stretching.

In the morning after good night sleep every one is about 1/2 inch to 1 inch taller. This is because the soft tissue between the bones recovers during the time when there is no weight on them.

Older people loose height due to bone loss. I was 5', 7'' I am only 5', 5".

Issue of Genes:

You know only the active genes but genes can stay dormant for generations.

I believe that every one has some tall height genes, dormant or active; I again believe that certain exercises can activate those.

Again Swimming:

You will start out with half a lap and build up day by day, half a lap at a time. Then you will swim non stop for 1/2 an hour.

The speed is not important but you must use various strokes and do them correctly, completely, slowly and perfectly. This way you will have full stretch, and its benefit.

Yes u can, I have seen children of short parents, becoming very tall. Height is not always hereditary. U are only 17, U can increase by at least 2 inches, there is a height increase program conducted at mumbai, where your height can increase by exercises, vitamins, exposure to outdoor fresh air and sunshine, good quality sleep, better posture etc. etc.

yes u can abt 1 to 2 inches.I think yoga is most effective.

No..

But you can make yourself appear to be taller.. such as.. wearing high heels, or clothing that is flattering and makes you appear more taller i.e vertical stripes.
