You can't convince someone of an idea that they are totally convinced is wrong. Most people are unwilling to look at any evidence of anything because it requires them to think. All people are capable of thinking but too many would rather go with the crowd than think for themselves. To be a non believer also means that they have to accept the fact that when they die, there is no reward, no after life, no existence. That scares most people into wanting to believe that there is something there, even if there is absolutely no proof for it.

1) Very hard to do since one does not prove the other. The literal, 6 24 hr day, interpretation of the Creation is just that: a literal interpretation of one story in the Bible. It is not the "lynch-pin" upon which the existence of God rests.
2) How can you prove that he wasn't? And if a christian believes it's an allegory...what's your point?
3) Our entire understanding of morality is defined by "fables" such as the Bible. Call it what you will. It has intrinsic spiritual value.

Well, sounds like quite an intelligent Christian to me who understands the bible as what it is: a book with ancient mythology.
I wouldn't try to convince him of anything, as what he is doing is simply taking the bible as a moral guideline. Much as other people read some philosophy books or stuff.

You can not convince me or any other christian that there is no God? Now may I ask you why is it so important to you to convince us there is no God.Do you even know? Don't say because we push ourselves and our beliefs on you because that is a lie! Can You prove that the Bible is a fable? This is not to you but to the spirit that is driving you to mock us."Get the behind me Satan!"

I don't want to convince christians of anything. Let them believe what they want to believe (they have that right). I just don't want their beliefs in my government, schools or work place.

You cannot convince me of a lie satan. Jesus is alive and like jonah in the belly of a whale he died and was 3 days in the grave . Then Jesus rose to life and is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
