Is there any cure for split ends other then cutting the hair??? HELP PLEASE!!!

No, the only cure is cutting the damaged hair off. If she doesn't the splits can travel up the hair shaft and then a lot of hair will have to be cut off. Once, the cut is done, keep getting trims regularly, drink water, and wrap hair in silk scarf or sleep on a silk pillow to prevent any farther breakage and splits.

Haven't you ever heard of a hair cut? If you get her hair cut at least once a month your cousin shouldn't have split ends. I know this for a fact because, whenever I get split ends I get my hair layered and I don't have split ends like even a little over a month later.

No, you have to trim your hair every time you get it permed or at least every 2-3 weeks. Split ends are considered breakage and the only way to keep it from damaging the remainder of the hair strand is to clip the split end. You can also go to your local beauty supply store and ask for something but you still have to trim your split ends.

She needs to have her hair trimmed regularly. A trim would take care of the split ends without taking too much off the length of the hair, if that is what she wants.

I know there is treaments out there for damaged hair that you can buy and leave on the hair for a certain amount of time to rejuvenate it but I think with split ends it is better for you to just trim her hair so it will continue to grow healthy otherwise it will just get worse.

this method is cutting ,but you don't lose length, make one
inch squares and twist each square tightly, all the way down to the end .the split ends will pop out,then take a scissor holding the scissor sideways just trim only the split ends

No...there is NO real cure for split ends except a haircut.

I think that cutting the hair is the best answer. But u get pills that strengthen the hair. Ask a doctor.

how far up are her split ends lucky me i had them to but they wernt to far up if its not to far then you can cut them but other wise try a split ends shampoo and conditioner but leave the conditoner in for 3 mins or more

She may want to start getting regular haircuts(every 6 weeks or so, a trim) Also monthly deep conditioning.
