What is reasonable amount of pocket money for an adult? How much budget should our government have?
Some adults shouldn't have access to any money because they are too irresponsible and loose with it. I would say an eleven year old could have a million dollars, if they are responsible enough to earn it they are responsible enough to spend it.
Honestly, I was more responsible as an 11 year old with $100 than I was as a 21 year old with $50.
Teach the 11 year old about money and then your question becomes irrelevant.
Also teach your kid about bullies and how to pay bigger bullies to beat the extortionist bully who is trying to take money from you.

I think the best pocket money for and 11 year old is about $10.
They will have enough money to make an important telephone call ride a bus/taxi home and even enough to have a snack. $10 is really reasonable because if you give them more they'll be tempted to spend it like say
"Oh i have $20 i can spend $10 on this shirt/(clothing,toys etc)"

I don't think they need anything. You buy the clothes, the food, her bed...,ect.. But If they need money to go and see a movie, go to the mall ect....Tell them to do chores around the house 11 of them! My younger siblings who are 1-9. for the 3 y/o Elizabeth..She gets $3.00 when she does 3 chores. I think it depends not on the age but the amount of chores. so if your 11 y/o does 11 chores than inspect them then if they are all done right and neatly then give them 11$ but the can only do that every other a week... so maybe . 3 on monday. 2 on Tuesday. 3 on Wednesday. 1 on Thursday. 1 on Friday. Saturday or Sunday. S/He gets paid. Cause if you pay him/her every day or week you wil be broke in 6 or 7 months.. LOL!!! Seriously tho!!! Hope this Helps!!!!!!!!!

It counts on how responsible he/she is.
What is he/she wanting the money for?
I trust my 11 year old with about $5. And only if she really needs it for something.

I dont give my grandson pocket money. He has chores to do and if they are done he gets 1 dollar a day for each day they are done.So 7 dollars he has for his own pocket money.I believe a child needs to earn that extra money he or she gets.

I have an 11 yr old, and he gets $5 a week ( if he does pre-specified chores). Its plenty for him to buy a soda or whatever afterschool.
