Coendorphinrush! Really cool, didnt know ya turkish, what a fantastic coincidence! Mom just got back from Turkey (im so jealous). It is popularly said that turkish are good looking bunch on a whole and hope I didnt offend anyone but I heard alot of Turkish men are charmers and players! haha... I hated my bf very much when we first got to know each other. No doubt I find him hot but I thought he s nothing but a shallow prick and never fail to remind him that. Over a yr of platonic friendship, I find him to be the sweetest guy... (aww....) So babe, I ll definitely email you soon!!! xoxo

Hey Necky, I was just going to tell you that I'm Turkish too soon as I found out while reading that you have Turkish bf; what a coincidence now you are asking this :) Lol
Shoot me an e-mail if you like: coendorphinrush@yahoo.com
OK here's some background info: Born and raised in TR and moved to the states after high school, now in my mid 20's, urban chick from the most beautiful city in Turkey: Izmir (the town itself is a factory full of beautiful girls and if you mention the name to your bf he'll agree; not to brag but it is true). Anyhow, I'm not sure what else (specifically) you need help on but I would definitely see what I can do :))
This is to FreedQuaker:
I'm not sure where you are getting the demographics but there is a pretty good gay population in the town I grew up in and they are not closeted in gays. Cemil Ipekci is a very famous Gay Stylist world famous for his designs. Altough Turkey's eastern Anatolian parts maybe more conservative on the issue of homosexuality the bigger cities such as Istanbul, Izmir and most probably Ankara are swarming with open minded people including tolerance for alternative life styles. I had gay friends growing up, even one of my high school teachers was openly gay. Turkey could be easily mistaken as heavily intolerant for alternative lifestyles but our culture is absolutely been structured on accepting people for who they are and that definitely includes gays. Look at all the gay entertainers in the Bars of Istanbul, turn the TV on look at all the different varieties of people featured.
I strongly recommend going down to the town of Bitez or Turgutreis in the City of Bodrum (Kusadasi, Antalya or Cesme would be equally satisfying and gays are more densely populated in these areas) for a vacation out of the ordinary, and guarantee you that it will be the best time of your life!

Turks, for sure, are very helpfull and eager to teach their culture to others, so you will have no problem finding friends to help you with your efforts in learning Turkish, so take it easy :) But after some point, you may need some pro or semi-pro help as you lean on the lingual issues, and as a linguist, I am, too, ready to help you here like other fellas, hehe. My Turkish side has outwitted the other part, lol. I am semi-American, semi-Turkish, though have been living in Turkey recently...

To "LE PETIT PRINCE STEFOUN" :
Its not appropriate for you to search for a gay Turkish friend here (here meaning "under this very title", another specific title would be more appropriate) and I hope its merely a joke, but all the same, its incredibly difficult to find a gay Turkish friend, since officially, only 0,3% of the Turkish population is gay unlike American liberty about it lol:)))

To "coendorphinrush'
Oh come on, dont tell me about tolerance, I was just kidding around with no serious intentions about gay people, having gay pals, even relatives, who are abundantly around me in Boston and NY, but Turkey is nothing compared to Western countries, lets discuss it elsewhere, not here. Your answer to me exceeds the original part! lol.
