The same church that was yesterday and the day before. Any church that teaches about Jesus Christ and God's immense love for each and every one of us.

Good question; I'll be interested to see the other responses.
I can't think of the reference because it's late and I should be asleep, but the Bible says, "Where two or more are gathered in my name, there I will be also," which suggests to me that 'church' is two or more followers of God.
The church in general is getting a bad rap these days, so I think that it is becoming less formal, certainly here in Australia. Home churches and cafe churches are becoming more and more popular.
Something to ponder, thank you for the question!

The Church must have a Biblical Name. Church of GOD or Church of Christ are both named. The Church should worship on the First day of the week, Giving and Partaking of the Lord's Supper on that day according to the scriptures. We are told to SING and to Pray in our services also. Have a great day!
Thanks,
Eds

There was only ONE church on the day of Pentacost, & there will only be one TRUE Church at the endtime. Acts 2:47 Praising God, & having favour with all the people, & the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Eph. 4:13 Till we ALL come into the UNITY of THE faith--------

The church is the body of Christ. This has many parts - just as your physical body has many parts, but it still is one body. When one of the parts of the body suffer, the whole body suffers with it, so too with the body of Christ!
It is written in the book of Hebrews that there is a 'cloud of witnesses that surrounds us' that cloud of witnesses is the spiritual body of Christ. This includes those who are dead and died in Christ as well as those who are alive and are living and walking in the spirit. Understanding this, that those that profess to be alive in the spirit must also walk in the spirit. Now if one does not have the spirit of Jesus Christ, he is not His. That one cannot boldly confess that God is his father.
So, the Church today is none other than the body of Christ - those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and also live and walk in the spirit - being led by the Holy Spirit and also the Holy Spirit bearing witness with their spirit that they are indeed the sons of the living God!
The body of Christ is NOT a collection of denominations!

Church is the assembly of the People that God has called together from the ends of the earth.
In Catholic usage, the word "Church" has three inseparable meanings:
+ The People that God gathers in the whole world
+ The local church (diocese)
+ The liturgical (above all Eucharistic) assembly
The Church draws her life from the Word and the Body of Christ, and so herself becomes Christ's Body.
With love in Christ.

We are the Church today. All the believers form Christ's Church. All those that are trying to love their enemies, to help those in need (the orphan and the widow)...may God help us do the right things with all our hearts! What do you think?

Those who accept Jesus as both Lord and savior. Those who believ the Word of GOD.
Those who obey the Word of GOD.
Those who accept the Word above all traditions.
Those who take up their cross daily.
Those who partake in the body and blood of Christ.
Those who assemble as one.
Those who have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them.
Those in whom the Word remains.

Either they are all wrong, or one of them is right, since they all teach different things. This is basic logic.
I vote for the latter. And for the Latter-Day Saints. :-)
