I hate having greasy hair, and I luckily, never in public have had it yet!

Recently, I have been finding my hair to become more greasy or oily.. I haven't changed my diet, and I'm past my teens so it's not puberty!

I find I have to wash it at night after work, then it's fine for the following day until after work then I have to wash it again that night.. It's like a vicious circle!

Some days i can leave it up to a day and a half without washing it, which thankfully isn't so bad.

What treatments are available at the moment to stop this?

I Am just like that.
I have been taking a shower everyday and now my hair is starting to dry out.
I asked my Hair Lady What to do and she says letting your hair dry naturally rather than blow drying it is good. And when after you shampoo if you use conditioner only put it on the lower half of your head (if you have long hair) this is because the top of your scalp is already conditions because it is mostly new hairs. the lower half is more dead, for lack of a better word, and needs more.

Try not to run your hands through your hair that much because that causes the oil on your hands to get in your hair making it gresey too.

I just suggest use non oily hair shampoo and see what happens

Good Luck

One thing I have been told in the past is when you wash your hair, do not scrub hard with your fingernails because it activates the pours. Also the amount of stress or sweat you have during the day makes a big difference.

Get some advice from a hairdresser. You probably are using the wrong shampoo and just need to change to something that doesn't have moisturizers & conditioners in it.

Herbal essence is good (clarifying formula)
but it could be that either your hair is getting thinner which means the grease shows more
or your diet has changed.
