OVer the past 5 months this man and I had a dispute. He told me that when he closes the door , he never opens it again....meaning he is not going to be friends with me any longer.
A week ago I was walking along the road when he stopped his car and gave me a ride to my destination , which was in the other directionfrom where he was going. he told me he was just giving me a ride that's all.
I called him on Monday to say "thank-you for the ride" and to inform him of my new cell #. He laughed so hard I couldn't believe it. He said that he has not called me in 6 months and I was calling to give him my new number .....what a joke. I was shocked by his behaviour and stayed calm. I politely told him that this was my number and that he could recognize me if I called as he does not answer calls if he does not recognize the number.
I thought the man was a jeek. He gave me a ride and spoke to me as if we were friends and then laughed at me on the phone.
We live inthe same building .

I feel sorry for u, but the guy has really lost it, if his behavior was so weird, he needs help. I mean y give a lift (the way he did) after the episode and then be so aloof. split personality, I guess!

You got your answer about weather you could still be friends when he laughed in your face....don't humiliate yourself. He knows where you live and which door to knock on if he wanted to talk to you.....but after that WHY WOULD YOU!! Think better of yourself, you don't need that scum....never be a doormat and be proud of the woman you are and hold your head up high. Good Luck and hope you find a real man that know how to treat and RESPECT a woman!

some people are this Way stay away he wants no friends giving you a ride and speaking to you does not mean he wants to be your friend or have your cell number that was really presumptuous on your part. Bet he didn't give you his cell number did he?

Well, he's been honest with you aand says he doesn't want to talk to you..... you should have left it at that instead of giving him your new #. But it's over with ..he humiliated you by laughing at you....so what???? He lives in the same building as you???? So what??? All you have to do is just be friendly to him as you would (hopefully) to the other people in your building. Don't cause yourself any more grief & humiliation over this guy.

Dear, not only he is a jerk, but an a**hole too. I think he has an over-inflated ego that needs stroking by jerks like him....... Stay away from, don't contact him and when he speaks to you next time.. give him the finger for me...

sorry, but this guy is a jerk. forget about him. he obviously does not care for you in any way. he is being rude, mean, and selfish. he is just hurting you. get away from him, quick! you need someone way better who will truly care for you.
