Depends on the type of birds and snakes. Some birds are considered pets, but not all. Ditto on the snakes. I personally would not keep any birds or snakes for pets. So, my answer would be six.
Of course some cats and dogs would not be considered pets. The answer could be zero.
There is very little logic to this question.
