we have been friends for a long time, and i know she loves me as a person and we are quite close. I love her cause of her quirks and her somewhat strange yet interesting habbits.... however today she acted differently....
I mentioned to her a few days earlier that i had feelings for her, Today - i asked her to meet me at the park - I was there - she was 15 minutes late, she came running and just ran and gave me this big hug and held on to me for a few seconds, then she took my hand and we started aimlessly walking and discussing strange and totaly random things....
I asked abt why she is so detached and why she has not gottten into a relation yet - she said - she's still healing and waiting for someone to get to that point where she knows that it may just be worth her time - she said she is waiting for something to hapen, and cant wait for love to happen again...
I was wondering what this means, as i did not uinderstand it.??
I want to be there? what do u think is happening?

well, how old are you both , dude? ...
anyway ,,, relationship , friendship ,,, and love ... are such so complicated things to happen around us ..
it depends on how frank , clear you can be with the each other ... friendship can always move to be a true love story ,, but when love is broke , nothing could be called " friends after we loved each other " ..
in your case ,, it just seems that you are too close to each other ,,, it seems that she's a sensetive one , who has experienced something bad once in her life ,, so my first advice , don't hurt her again! ... i mean , if you are not sure , ready , to have something in there ,,, just don't dig in deeper ,, when things are still at the begining , u can withdraw youself with least loss ,,, but when you are traped ( traped doesn't mean sth bad, but hard) in there ,,, it's hard , very hard to end something u started .......
so think about it , make sure about what she thinks and wants ,,, and decide ,,,,
we always need someone to be there ,, to care and have the gut to listen to us without getting bored , someone who we really trust in a strange world , someone who wouldn't say suddenly " i don't want you " ,, someone who will really keeps his/her word for us ....... life is horrible when u taste it alone , yet it's the worst thing to think that you got the right person to be with , and at one moment , everything is a day dream ,, everything vanish ..... be careful

I think she's giving some good "not so subtle" hints that she would be open to having a relationship, i.e. going from just good friends to something more. Tell her what you're feeling and ask her if she wants to be more than just friends. You'll never know unless you ask, and if you don't bring it up again you'll probably never forgive yourself.
PS when you ask her I would also make sure you tell her that if she just wants to be friends that that's okay, and you will always be their for as a good friend so she won't feel too pressured. G-Luck Kid

this means that she is waiting for someone to actually take the time to be with her and waiting to actually fall in love with someone that will take their time just to be with her.
