I eat 2000 calories a day. I go to the gym every other day from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM to run for 20 minutes and lift weights and do abs. Im 18 and weigh 142. I think I should eat less like 1500 calories right? Or just eat 2000 Calories a day on days I work out. And days I dont work out eat 1500.

You didn't include your height, which would be much more helpful in determining your size than your age. But 142 is quite low for a man, even if he's 5'9 or so. It seems like you're eating fine, and if anything you should eat more. You work out an awful lot. If you're not in the business of fitness or athletics, I'd say you're focusing on it perhaps more than is actually healthy. But that's just a possibility, a caution. You know your life, I don't. But you should definitely include your height here if you want some real answers. Some lifestyle details would probably be helpful as well.

I just noticed you are male.... Stick with 2000 calories. 1500 isn't enough for a male.

Keep up the good work!!

If your a young 18 year old guy, you about 2600-2900 calories each day if you excercise moderately. Half those calories should come from carbohydrates to give you energy. You aren't eating enough.
