Command I think is more physical ... You command a person to fetch you a drink. You cannot command a person to show you respect ... but you can demand for respect.
I don't know if that makes sense. It's late.

i think there isn't much difference when someone command something it is like a demanding as well

yes when u command someone it usually means that u have the authority to give him an order and he is supposed to be obliged to do it! when u demand something u give an order to someone and u except him to do it because u think he has to do it!
