i have stomach problems and i get full really fast(i've been to a specialist and it's nothing major, it's akin to ibs) so a snack for a normal person would have to be cut in half for me and made into two because i'll eat half and get full then get hungry for the other half later. as long as it's healthy foods is that ok?(i assume yes since ive still been losing weight)

Lots of bodybuilders or athletes or people trying to lose weight will get in the habit of smaller more frequent meals. This is actually probably healthier for you because it helps regulate your blood sugar.

7 or 8 is quite alot though, it would probably be best if you were somewhere in the 5-7 range instead.

If you're still losing weight and you don't want to, you'll have to start eating more calorie rich foods if you can't up the overall volume of food.

If you're an otherwise normal healthy person (ie not overweight, etc), no history of heart disease or obesity in your family, then it would seem that your body's way of asking for nourishment is to have the "hungry feeling". If you're hungry, then eat.
People who have had lap-band surgery, need to eat up to 6-7 times a day because their stomach is too small.
But you MUST see a decent doctor and have this all approved. If you're unsure of their opinion, seek a second or third opinion - if they match, then you're on the right road.
Good luck.

As long as it's healthy foods and you are in good health. I eat 7 or 8 mini meals and I feel less stomach distress and more energy all day. It is Healthier than eating 3 large meals.

Actually, its healthier to take more, smaller meals.

Total daily intake is what counts. Not how much you take in at a sitting.

Shoveling in a plate-ful of food stretches the stomach. Over time, the stomach is permanently stretched and it takes more and more to get that "full" feeling.

By taking smaller mini-meals throughout the day, your stomach doesn't get stretched and you won't start to overeat over time.

As long as your calorie intake does not exceed what you burn, you'll be fine.

Yes, the American Diabetes Assn. Recommends small multiple meals a day. Diabetics thrive on this regimen because they avoid sugar spikes and low-blood-sugar episodes. You are already on the healthiest eating plan there is. splitting your meals into smaller meals is a good strategy. Keep up the good work!

I think you are fine. The gastric banding system (lapband) in essence does the same thing for you so you already have what people pay to have done.
