That shows that he is very committed to a cause and very caring, if he is taking care of his mother. Don't judge the guy because he is living with his parents. I lived with my parents, from the ages of 26 to 28, to help ease their financial burdens (and saved up quite a little stash of my own). It was a choice not a necessity. Give this guy a go, he'll probably be good for ya!

Yes, of course. I am a single 30 year old woman and I have the utmost respect for anyone who takes on the role of a carer, no matter what their age. Living at home comes with the job - had you moved back in with your mother to save money or get your laundry done, I would not give you a second glance. I hope you find the right woman to provide you with some TLC like you are showing your mother. Good luck!

WELLL.... that's a tough one - NORMALLY, I would agree that this is not a healthy situation - however, it is still considered "The Rule" in many cultures and generations, that when your parent(s) get old or very ill, it is the kid(s) who are to take care of them - not a convalescent hospital or stranger. It's supposed to be our way as the kid, to "give back" the care they gave us. I wouldn't judge this guy too harshly - give it time. It is actually rather cool that he is taking care of her - he RESPECTS his mother and CARES for her - tell me - how many MEN would do that, considering other "men" consider them "mommas boys"???!!! Takes GUTS to go against such a stigma!!!

yes. i was dating a man 39 and he was living with his mother cause she is getting old and can not do much. i think that is a great thing to do. our parents took car eof us growing up now its our turn to take care of them while they are getting old

I believe your parents look after you when you were younger and when they get older it is the children responsibility to look after their parents.
