im traveling from oklahoma to utah. in state of oklahoma it is not neccesary to license trailers.i need to know about colorado &utah

The state where you reside are the laws that you follow. However some police departments may give you a hassle if they are not familiar with Oklahoma law.

As a tourist, the laws of your state prevail. So no, you don't have to get a plate for it. Just show your Oklahoma license if stopped.

As far as I know each state allows what ever laws are in your state on that. You should call your local office for this information they will have this information for you.

Not sure about the two states you mention, but I would think if your state does not require it then you should be good.

If traveling, I would say no. If moving there, yes.
