ok to start things off. me and my boyfriend are in our 30's. this is no young love. we stay together every night and have the exact same friends. sometimes he goes out after work (we both get off late) and i don't care because most of the times he will call me to come hang out anyway after awhile. we know all the same people. so there is no big deal about that because i trust him and he will call me anyway. HOWEVER....I went out tonight and hung out with our MUTUAL friends without him..... i tried to call him....however his phone happened to die when i was using it earlier in the day (he left his charger somewhere else)...so he gets mad cause i go out without him and then gets even more mad because i didn't call his brothers cell and ask for him. why would i do this when he has my number and his brother goes to bed really early? i think he has no right to be mad..i don't go to a lot of places...he could have easily called me to find out where i was......whats your take?

I think something else is bothering him. Maybe he was already having a bad day and that just through him over the edge. I would talk to him about it.

I don't understand what you don't understand. This guy sounds like a control freak. Anybody that doesn't want you to go out and have a good time certainly isn't thinking about your happiness. And, yes, it is possible for you to have fun without him. It doesn't mean that you care about him any less.
My take is I would tell him to grow up and if he wants to have you in his life, then, he better appreciate you more. Good luck.

Yeah, he has no right to be mad. He is being a baby. Just keep doing what makes you happy and don't let his being mad stop you. You shouldn't have to be together 24-7 to keep him happy. Maybe he needs a hobby to occupy his time away from you.

hmmmm interesting .. you guys try understand each other and stop blaming each other its not worth at all ....
try to fight with him without taking or thinking of past .. and see what happens, its worth it.
