It is a Personal Relationship spitirually with Jesus as your Savior.
It is NOT any religion.
FIRST let me make it clear that a Christian is simply a person who follows in Jesus Christ's [the annointed Jesus] footsteps, and applies His Word to their DAILY lives On and Offline.
One must separate Cultural Religion from Biblical Truth in order to be a TRUE Christian.
Anyone trying to say a cultural religion is a solid foundation for their Christianity is NOT a true Christian.
A TRUE Christian simply reads the Bible, and then applies the concepts, truths, and laws to their own life in order to be a true Christian.
Should a Christian go to a church, they should not go to one that in ANY WAY contradicts the Bible and it's concepts and precepts. They should study that church and it's teachings in order to decide whether or not to attend it's meetings.
If a Christian goes to a Baptist, Catholic, or other church, their religious preference does NOT make them a Christian, but NOR does it contradict their Christianity. There is NO One RELIGION that is perfect in standing true to the form of the Bible word upon word and precept upon precept. This is WHY many Christians today hold home meetings, instead of going to a man made sanctuary for assembling themselves. This is also something I believe we will see more of in the coming times, Christians coming OUT of churches and assembling themselves in other ways and places, with those who are likeminded in Bible precepts.

Christianity is a religion and a relationship with God. A religion is something that people believe is what life is all about- the meaning of life and all that. And it's also the second one too.

It's a relationship. Religion is generally about doing stuff - earning your way to God, becoming a better person, following rules and rituals. Christianity is about what's been done. It's about being a child of God through what Jesus has done for us.

Both. A "religion" is ones views towards the Supreme Being(s) and how they show their devotions to it. Traditionally pagan rituals were not relationships because there was no sense of affection or love derived from the religion. However as the Abrahamic religions emerged, the idea that there was a personal God evolved and thus Christianity, as a consequence, is both a religion and a relationship.

first of all, im NOT a christian, but I don't like being told I can't partake in a topic, when I know something about it.
Christianity IS a religion.. the definition of religion is : a set of doctrines/beliefs that a group of ppl believe/adhere to. that is what makes christianity a religion.
christians, on the other hand, try to twist that, and say that it isn't a religion, its a relationship with christ. Well, That is their way of trying to stand out amongst the hundreds of religions around the world. Fact is, Christianity is a religion.
Personal faith, on the other hand is the relationship.
I hope this solved your question there.

It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
I do worship with an organized denomination [Assemblies of God] but each believer's relationship with Christ is personal.

Religion is all about relationships. The rituals, the prayers, the outfits even, are all there to help make closer that relationship.
Let not the "scribes and Pharisees", hypocrites, try to convince you it's all about money. For some, it may well be, but for most who feel a call to serve God, it's all about sharing the relationship they have with God by drawing others into that same relationship.

as a christian i dont believe that God created religion, but people did.
God created a way for us to come back to him, this way is the only way, Jesus the Christ who believes in Him shall not be perish.
Christianity is not a religion, its a relation between God and his people. He is my father and i am his doughter.

That is what all religions are based on: the relationship with Lord (Jesus Christ, Allah, Asian Gods). If it hadn't meant the connection to God, it wouldn't have been a religion, right?

It is *both.*
---------------
It is *primarily* a relationship, but it is also a religion because a relationship requires certain duties and entitles you to certain rights|
It is the particular forms of obligations and benefits in the Faith that we call religion| (for example, the liturgy of the Church)|
St. Thomas Aquinas defined religion as justice rendered to God.
