In India, since nearly 4 or 5 decades, the Christian missionary people are converting Hindus in to Christianity, telling them that Jesus is the only way to go Heaven. Besides, they are inviting people to their prayer meeting often conducted by various groups of churches. Its fine and there is nothing to say in it. But, my question is, why don't they take any effort to approach people who are dwelling in slums and in the street corners? They are also the people who must know about Jesus and Christianity. They don't even get food, clothings and shelter, which are the basic needs of a common man. Why not the missionaries approach and teach them Bible and make them to understand about Jesus? In the sight of God, it will be good and God will be proud when a soul turns towards him. I think, the missionaries will look in to this and understand what should be done immediately, before a soul is taken in to hell.

I am a christian and I got cloths, shoes and dolls for Muslim girls in Afghanistan, none of them got saved, I went to Romania and went to a Gypsies village to do a VBS ( for four days) only three people got saved. I also do a sunday school kids club every friday in a housing project that use to be infested with drugs. I don't know about India, I do know that Englanish people were once incharge of India, so you need to be looking at the English Christians over there, not US Christians, I am not sure if US christians are allowed over there, but I know that the English still live over there. By the way, the English I worked with in Romania were not saved and they helped us with the Gypsy village and were there to help kids with special needs.

I think its sad that when you mention how christians try to force-feed their beliefs, they get pissed and automatically jump to the muslim subject.
Fact is : there are bad people in EVERY religion, just as there are GOOD in every religion.

sadly, today's christians don't know the bible, and don't realize how wrong they are, but thats not my problem.

Any religion that feels that you need to fear God, isn't a valid religion in my opinion. I have no reason to fear my creator, nor do i see the point in imposing my beliefs on others, and try to convert them.

you see, with christianity and other religous cults like christianity, its kind of like a soul game.. see how many converts you can get, or how many people you can condemn. Its a hateful practice.

i visit cite many examples of ways historic paganism affected cutting-aspect day Christianity. yet the position do I start up. In concepts: The pagans belive in a cycle of rebirth that's represented in the seasons the position as in the course of the iciness soltice (round Dec 22) the finished God is born commencing the line in the route of spring. yet by ability of midsummer he a at the same time as and losses strengh until eventually he's finall sacrificed commencing the line in the route of iciness. in this time inspite of the actuality that he has inpregnated the Goddess at the same time with his seed to be reborn back. this tale coinsides with the ameliorations of the seasons and the ameliorations of ways many hours of photograph voltaic we've vs the of sunlight hours we've. because the iciness soltice Dec 22 is the day that volume of sunlight hours is at its least. and june 22 is the day in which we've the most sunlight hours. note the simularity to Christs delivery lack of life and reseraction. Anouther get at the same time of pagan simularities to Christians is the pagan is the position Theegyptia goddess provides delivery to the egytian God Horus baring a excellent simblence to The madonna(Virgin Mary) having given delivery to Christ. In Chritianities infancy that they had worked not straightforward attempting to eliminate the beliefs of the pagans. yet some beliefs were so ingrained that the in undemanding words thanks to regulate the pagans minds were to contain them into christianity. case in point In eire The pagans had a really ingraned have self assurance in a triple Goddess undemanding as Brid,Breed, Bhrigid, The church might want to no longer eliminate this figure from the straightforward conception so the church basically demoted her from a Goddess right into a saint. such is the muse of Saint Brigett in catholic conception. also note the triune right here in the pagan beliefs this triune replaced into reated to the cycles of existence as a Virgin Goddess, Maiden(mom Goddess) and Crone(The sensible elderly Goddess) this for sure is simular to the Christians Father, Son, And Holy Ghost. there are distinct different examples i visit provide yet may particularly no longer write a e book so in case you want more beneficial be at liberty to e mail me.

Religions develop methods for conversion largely because those that did not would die out. It's evolution in action, ironically enough.

Conversion, recruiting, passing along the religion to one's children, having lots of children, etc. are all ways that religions have evolved in order to survive in the human environment. For example, the whole "family values" thing exists only because encouraging your "flock" to have a lot of children and raise them to share your religion is absolutely necessary for a religion to survive in the long run. Any religion that doesn't strongly encourage reproduction is at a serious disadvantage. It might be possible to make up for it with extraordinary recruiting/conversion methods, but that's the harder way to get new adherents. Raising them directly is far easier.

b/c Christians think their way is the only way despite the fact that Hinduism and a lot of other religions have been around for a lot longer and a lot more peaceful and life perserving then Christianity.

Dont forget Christianity is what one man somewhere along the way decided to use as a way to gather power to himself (and no I'm not talking about jesus, but the person who decided to capitalize on Jesus' name) .

I think it's very important to try and care for the needs of those in India-both their physical needs *and* definitely telling them about Jesus.

This answer involves belief.
True Christianity is the accurate following of Jesus' commands.
Jesus is Almighty God's son.
Jesus fully agrees with everything his Father in heaven does.
God has planned a new system, in which Jesus is the ' reigning King' or in other words, the ' head of government'
everything Jesus does or orders is for our benefit.
God is not only loving but is also jealous .
(EXODUS 34:14) “For you must not prostrate yourself to another god, because Jehovah, whose name is Jealous, he is a jealous God;”
(ZECHARIAH 8:2) ““This is what Jehovah of armies has said, ‘I will be jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and with great rage I will be jealous for her.’””
Basically, its " my way or the highway"
Any form of worship which deviates from this is unacceptable.
And the combined religions of the world that do NOT comply are spoken of in the Bible as " Babylon the Great"
(REVELATION 18:2) “And he cried out with a strong voice, saying: “She has fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen, and she has become a dwelling place of demons and a lurking place of every unclean exhalation and a lurking place of every unclean and hated bird!”
(REVELATION 18:4-5) “And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. 5 For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind.”
Christians, when proved right, will also have proved that they are simply trying to save those ones lives.
Because if they are still part of their false religion when Armageddon happens, they will perish...for good.
And not even have the oppoprtunity to be resurrected.
And when ones who die BEFORE Armageddon are resurrected, they will be judged not on what they did in their past lives, but on their acceptance...or not...of God's new system.

Religion wants you to row row row your boat gently down the stream. Of course you have to remember the if you think to merrily merrily they tell you life is but a dream. Religions are in it for the money, they pay no taxes and have the worlds most popular imaginary friend, cause they cant make any of their own.

For God's sake at least they don't convert people by killing them, like Islam. Are you too scared to pick on Islam?
