It's because she really sees you as just a friend. It's a good thing that she is being honest with you and not playing games. If you stress her out, or make her feel bad about it, she may push you away and not want to even be your friend at all.

1.) She may not like you, the way you like her, so she just wants to be friends with you.
2.) She may like another guy.
3.) She doesn't want to get involved in a relationship or have a boyfriend, and wants to focus on other important things.
4.) She may not be ready, so just give her time or some space.

it doesn't mean that the girl doesn't like u,
it just means that at this point of time i want to be friends then , after awhil we will see how everything goes, to have a bf gf relationship,

it means she just wants to be buddies, not your girlfriend. Believe me, she's not interested in you as a boyfriend. Go out and have fun anyway. Better friends than not, right ?

If they were honest then they would say "You repulse me, I wish for no contact with you. Please go and die now.".
But, honesty simply never occurs to women. They're so used to lieing that it becomes the default behaviour.

because that is their choice. Not everyone is going to be interested in you when you are interested in them. Keep plugging away. there will be someone who will say that they want more than just friends
