My best mate is planning to propose to his wife but wants it to be really special because she was an orphan and has no known relatives so this will really mean alot to her as she will finally have some family. He asked me 4 suggestions 4 popping the surprise question and I suggested something lyk putting a piece of paper in a fortune cookie proposing. Has anyone got any romantic ideas or experiences they would like to share please. We really want this proposing to be a special memorable one it'll mean alot to them if you can help. thankyou.

I'm an orphan too and I can tell you that the single most important thing we want to hear our soon-to-be fiance say is that he wants to be our family. She'll be crying before he even shows her the ring. It shouldn't be done in a crowded place either since she will likely see this moment as extremely emotional and just for the two of them. It's really going to be about what he says to her more than the packaging. Don't make him fret over the external stuff when there is so much he can say to her that will make that moment unforgettable to her.

I would suggest having a suprise family dinner and each member of the family, tell a story about a fun time they have had with her. All explaining how they can wait till she becomes part of the family. In the end he can tap his glass and tell his story of why he wants her to become part of his family. And have him explain how much she means to him. Definitely get down on one knee.
A really cute idea would be for him to make a really big deal and maybe even have a friend of hers to help him pick out a pretty outfit for her to wear.

It means that they are already married.As she has turned into a matured,independent individual so please ask everyone to stop treating her or reminding her that she is an orphan, that is very inhuman!If they are not married yet, then he should invite all her friends, all his friends and propose in front of everyone.You can play a game of couple making, like have a box of chits where your friend's name should be written in all the chits, and ask her to pick up one of the chit mentioning that she needs to do something unique for her bf, she will do something for her bf and then he should offer her anything she likes the most and within it the ring should be placed.

How about putting the ring in a red rose or champagne glass. Take her to a restaurant and spread the table with rose petals - take her on a picnic near a river or waterfall.

Haha My mom have been given a fortune asserting 'a clean equipment of exhilaration will enter your existence'. The day until now, she found out she became pregnant. With me being the little equipment of exhilaration!!! :) 21 years later, she nevertheless has the little paper!

Since easter is coming up soon if he can wait that long.He can get a few people from his family (kids) to line up & each have a piece of paper in a easter egg that say Will You Be A Part Of Our Family. & your friend be at the end of the line ready to ask her to marry me.

hmm... sometimes girls can b more simple than u think. despite what ppl say, many girls have always told me d classic of flowers n ring is enuf. (don't forget to bend down on 1 knee! they notice!!!)it's simple yet sweet. after all it's d meaning behind it that counts right?
