And how many reps of each? Will these help toning my legs?

I agree with everybody on the every other day, with one inclusion on how many reps. Do as many as you can. Hit muscle failure and it will really help out your work out.

never work the same muscle group out two days in a row. The muscles need 48 hours to repair themselves after a good workout..

every other day you must give a lest 24hours for you muscles to relax you don't want to puy to much strain on them
