Depends on how old your son is? If hes very young you could do painting pasta and threading it, also all good craft shops supply beads and bits like that which you can thread onto string.

walmart's craft section has some oversized beads. Some are farm animals, or shapes. Get a bag of those, some string and let him put it together. Takes about 30 minutes and he can make a necklace and bracelet. They will be different, chunky and fun. It's what I did with my 3 kids when we needed to do something like this.

Red wooden beads made into bracelet or necklace OR what about red liquorice shoelaces platted/braided? Dust with a little flour and then he can munch them on the way home.
I remember red nose day when i was at school - so exciting and hardly any lessons :o)

Got some pasta shapes and make a pasta neckless and braclet. Get some gold or silver spray paint and spray away.

Go to your local craft store...buy some styrofoam balls and some elastic string qnd red non toxic paint. Paint the balls and dig out a area from the largest one for his nose to fit in and attach the elastic to make a band to hold it on. Then use some smaller ones to make a necklace of red noses and maybe a belt of red noses....etc. use your imagination and go from here.

the red ears are big this year for comic relief. why don't you make an "ear-ring". i mean a ring with an ear on it! you could get some red playdough and make it into the shape of an ear and stick it onto a cheap, plastic ring or get some oven bake clay and do the same and paint it! your son will enjoy helping you too!

A popcorn necklace is great. Just pop some popcorn and string (using a needle) on a long string.
Pasta works too, but the popcorn is more fun.
