Why do you want your cat to be able to bred?
Please don't worry about whether he's fertile or not, just do the responsible thing and have him neutered.

You can find out at the vet's - they can do a sperm test where they check for number and liveliness of sperm in his ejaculate. Ask your vet if they do this, and if not, if they can recommend a vet who does.
However,a re you sure you want to breed? Unless your cat is pedigreed, and a champion, it might be better to just have him neutered - then you also won't have to worry about him spraying in the house.
