I personally feel be going ahead with that, you are showing a lack of disrespect for your GF. I feel, it is, in a way, cheating because not only did you choose to be close to another woman sexually (come to think of it, isn't that just absolutely Wrong when you are in a relationship?) but you might also probably *hide* from her, for fear of her reaction. And if you are hiding, then it goes without saying that there's something shady about it. It's deception.
So I'd say keep away from it. It's a cheap thrill. And why do you need it anyway. Doesn't a relationship mean "commitment" which includes not being with any other woman. And in this case, it's pretty grave, becoz it is sexual. U think any woman will take it lightly? Talk to your GF and see what she says. Most women would have a problem with it. They'd not only be deeply hurt but will be losing trust in you and wont be seeing u as a mature, good charactered guy they can depend upon. That's not what a girl looks for in a guy who she wants to be in a long-term relation with. If it's a mutual agreed upon thing, and if you both go together, then it's another thing.
Also, think about how you will feel if she goes and does the same with other men.

I think you should check with the girlfriend. Some would tolerate this (but lose respect for you), others would be extremely upset. If you haven't been for the lap dance yet, I'd ask her. If it's a stag night or something she might tolerate that more than if you go alone (that's considered kind of weird and creepy). Many women would be upset also because of women's rights issues.
For the man who said you can only cheat if you're married. Well, I think you'll find that most women (and certainly all the men I know) would not agree. A relationship is a commitment, and if you go off with someone else you are breaking this commitment by cheating. If you were lucky your partner might take you back, but I owuldn't count on it.

Well, this subject is one that varies..You know your relationship and your girl the best,SO...what might be her reaction/answer? What do you think she'd say?..What does your conscience say to you?
Now, im a girl..so from This girls point of view.( I answer from my point of view ONLY).
I would say if you dont consider your girl receieving or giving a lap dance, in the manner of which you speak, as "cheating"...then I'd say of course you wouldnt be cheating! But ,..if the opposite were true...then....yes you would be
' cheating ", would be my answer. However, I do think that being that it were considered as 'cheating', If it were I that was your girlfriend, that to me...I would put it on the level of a small annoyance..and brush it off....its not that significant enough to become a major issue or reason to break up IF you and I had considered it Cheating to give or recieve one of these. How ever there would be things such as sexual acts/intercourse intimate kissing and touching and groping that I would count as intentional. and that would be grounds for breaking it off with you if i were yours.

If your girlfriend doesn't like you getting a lapdance then it is a form of cheating. You are spending time with another girl. A lap dance can be just a dance, but if your girlfriend doesn't see it that way then you shouldn't do it.

If your girlfriend would mind you having a lap dance than yes its cheating and if shes okay with it than no problem.

To me it is. Why would you want a lap dance if you are married or have a girlfriend? If they'll go as far as to get lap dances from strippers then you can bet they will do more if they have the chance.
Been there...done that!

If I had a boyfriend, and I found out he had a lap dance, I would be annoyed, and maybe call him a jerk. I would not consider it in the same light as if he slept with another girl though.

sort-of. It depends. Are you going to tell your girlfreind about it? Would she be hurt? I would not be happy if my man had a girl bouncing up and down on his lap. You know? I am not the jealous type, but it would makeme think that I am not good enough.
I know I am a girl, but the rule of thumb that I use is: Would I do this if he were here?
If the answer is no, then don't do it.

It all depends on how your girlfriend feels about it. Personally, I've never had a problem with my husband going to a strip club. My only problem has been that he hasn't taken me with him every time! He'd have a heck of a lot more fun with me there. If your girlfriend has reservations about you going to a strip club and you are in a committed relationship with her, then you should seriously reconsider patronizing those types of establishments. On the other hand, offer to take her with you. You might just be surprised by her reaction to the entire experience.

When considering a relationship there are no simple general rules. Whatever people here tell you, it all depends on what your girlfriend is like. Some girls wouldn't mind, some would feel insulted, some may find this actually amusing, some may truly hate you..........
You know your girl best. You could figure out the answer yourself.
