well i like all kinds of music from light rock to love music and lots of stuff in between. you dont need a girlfriend to like the same music to have a good time.

Different girls like different things honey! You will probably meet a great girl who likes the same music as you at a concert of a band you like. But music grows on you and it's the places and the memories of listening to your favourite band that makes the music really enjoyable so it shouldn't be that much of an issue, unless of course she's into Britney, then you'd have a problem....=)

Girls HATE rap. They say they like it, sometimes sing the song, but they hate it. They hate it when guys act like they are 'bad'. What they see is an idiot.
