Ever since Christians started affirming God and allah are not same, many new version of english Koran came with God instead allah.
Is this another way of confusing and claiming allah is the same God in the Holy Bible?

Sure now a days they commonly use the word God instead of Allah.
In many their English books now the word Allah is replaced by God
But let it be known to you, this is not actually for confusing people.
When they use the Arabic word Allah, people thing Allah is a Muslim god. But by using God itself this confusion can avoid.
But I tell you one thing, let them call and say what ever they like Allah or God or in any language.
One thing is sure.
ISLAMIC GOD ALLAH IS NOT THE ALMIGHTY AND ETERNAL GOD WHOM REAL CHRISTIANS AND I MYSELF WORSHIP.
WE WORSHIP THE GOD OF OUR FATHERS, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISSAC AND JACOB. HE IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW.
THE ALLAH IN QURAN & GOD IN THE HOLY BIBLE ARE NOT IN HARMONY.

The word "Allah" is simply the Arabic word for Almighty God, and is the same word used by Arabic speaking Christians and Jews. If one were to pick up an Arabic translation of the Bible, one would see the word "Allah" being use where the word "God" is used in English. Actually, the Arabic word for Almighty God, "Allah", is quite similiar to the word for God in other Semitic languages — for example, the Hebrew word for God is "Elah". For various reasons, some non-Muslims mistakenly believe that Muslims worship a different God than Jews and Christians. Muslims believe in GOD(in arabic Allah), the Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, The Creator and The Provider, He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none equal or comparable unto Him.
Islam is the only religion which recognizes and believes that all the prophets brought the same essential message This message was, still and will be the belief in and submission to ONE God (the Creator and the Sustainer of all things, the Exalted and the Redeemer of all things. The word Islam itself means "submission and surrendering" to God

Open an Arabic Bible and you find the word Allah instead of God. Maybe I don't know you seem to be a scholar of the Arabic language but Allah and God is the same word?

God = Allah = The Being = The Creator = many many names of God, According to Islam god have many names, Allah is one of them.

It is the same God. Read the Qu'ran and the Old Testament.
Can't God be the same person in different names for different religions, races, languages or dialects?
He is the same one true God. Allah, Abba, Yahweh, Lord, Father, Bathala, Bhagaban, Dios, Deo, Dios Ama, Theo, Dei, etc,..

No ..... but then I guess the Muslims are trying NOT to confuse the Christians by using an English word rather then a Arabic Translation ;P.

they mean the same thing. Allah is God in Arabic. I am Christian and when I am talking Arabic with family i use Allah to say God.

I use either as they are the same, ever see an Arabic Christian Bible, God is referred to as Allah. Could you toss us a linky or two where Qur'an says God and not Allah, as I've yet to see one. thanks in advance :)

hey,hey,Allah is God in Arabic and Aramic,Jesus never said God, all what he said is Alaha.so it doesn't make sense to speak English and say Allah.

-i wonder why the English word is very different from Allah,Allah is the name God chose for himself that's why you see it in more than one language.

Allah is in Arabic and English it becomes god. In Hindi it is Paramatma. Like for water, we can call water also as pani, neer, nelu, H2Oetc.
