It would be 12 to 14 days post conception at earliest using a sensitive ultrasound machine. If you want to count pups, it is recommended at day 20-30 post conception.

Oh my.... if you can afford to have your pet get artificial insemination done you can afford to let a vet to answer this question lol You didn't say what kind of dog you have.. Not that it matters ....I was just wondering why you had it done this way.

The same way you determine if your dog is pregnant from a natural breeding:

1. Abdominal palpation at around 28 days post-breeding, performed by experienced hands (vet or knowledgable breeder).

2. Canine pregnancy test (blood draw) done by your vet at about the same time frame.

Take your dog to the vet after 25 days after the AI and have a relaxin blood test done to see if it is positive!
