o.k. I'll play along. I am assuming the reason you would need to lift a 15 year old boy is because he is in some manner disabled or incapacitated.

We use a Hoyer lift and a bath chair. Also, when we have a need to transfer him from the wheelchair to his bed, we use two people and share the load.

There are two main methods of transfer we employ for him. Side Lifts, which require two people who each take hold of an arm and a leg to change his positioning.

the second is a Top and Bottom Lift. One person takes his legs at the knees and the other grasps him under his armpits and locks their hands together around his chest to lift.

While I can lift my 14 year old son and transfer him by myself, I try to have help because of his weight.

Also, I have a back belt similar to what weight lifters employ to help me lift him properly in those times I must do so alone.

Hope that was the information you were needing.

I'm a dad and my son is physically larger than his mom and myself. Not advisable to try to lift a large male especially women. Unless you have a runt for a son.

unless there's something wrong with a 15 year old, i wouldn't even try to lift him! if there is, it would depend on how big he is in relation to how big you are. if possible i would lift him onto something that had some wheels on it. if you can't do that then i would try to put him on my back and sort of drag him along like that. hopefully, not very far. is there no one who can give you a hand?

I am physically not able to pick up my 5 and 7 year old. (Severe Back Problems) I definitely do not see me picking them up when they are 15!
