First of all, this woman is a grown woman! Don't start drama and get her "mama" involved in this. Let her learn her own mistakes, she is 28! If she thinks it is love, let it be love. Age is nothing but a number.

Why would you bring her mama into it? Your friend is a grown woman, she knows what she wants. Why not be happy for her. If neither one of them have a problem with the age differance (which by the way is just a number & makes no differance until one of them is under 18 yrs old), then why should you have a problem with it?

I'd say leave it alone. Attraction is a funny thing. Many women are attracted to a man who has some life experience, is stable and confident in who he is...and most of that comes over time, and with age. It's hard to find someone in your age bracket with those traits, and is willing to commit, yet still give you room to grow. Personally I'm nearly 46/male and i don't really see a problem for her....more for him in that she may not have the maturity or life experience to relate to him!...That would still have to be based on their chemistry and what works for both of them. I just wouldn't sweat it. In most societies other than the USA, women are encouraged to seek an older mate that is capable of taking care of her in all respects.

Yes, a 28y/o woman and a 46 y/o man could have a successful relationship. I know couples whose age difference are far more than theirs, and are happily married to date.
:-) your concern for your friend is typical, however it's for her to decide. I think at the age of 28, she's mature enough to know what's right and wrong for her... If she's happy, then why not be happy for her?
Unless your friend is in danger with this man, I don't think you should warn her neither her mom.
Don't worry... be happy. :-)

Leave her alone. Its not your job to save her from mistakes. She is aware of the age difference, shes the one who is dating him. WTF is it your business? She is your friend, not your daughter. And even then, she is a grown adult and she can make her own decisions. If you are really against it, support her. When you voice your true opinions about being against her relationship, it will only make that relationship stronger because they are in defense mode. Just because you have a problem with the age difference, doesn't mean she does. Really, why would you want to ruin or sabotage your friends relationship?

Leave it alone! It is NONE of your business. For gods sake she's 28yo, completely old enough to make her own decisions. What makes you think that a 28yo and a 46yo are that different in maturity....they are both grown adults at this point.
Get a life of your own and stay the hell out of theirs. You make me sick!

She is a grown woman, it is her decision and you need to stay out of her relationship and not interfere if you are her friend then you support her and stop trying to get in between her happiness, she can figure things out on her own.

I wouldn't stop her but you might bring it to her attention as to whether they have spent time talking about the furture and facing the problems ahead and in time there will be many. They need to know how each other will react to problems arising and how they will work to resolve them.
