Yeah, flavoured water is a good plan. I don't really like drinking the water from my tap as it tastes horrible.
Have you tried putting diluting juice/squash in your water as this will disguise the taste, which is what I use it for, but it might help you as well.
You could also try drinking fresh fruit juice from the supermarket, or even buying a juicer and making it yourself.
Milkshakes are also really good as they are easy to make and you can put any kind of fruit you want in them. Good luck!

There is nothing in water to make you gag so it must be psychological. Do you find bottled water any better? this can be plain or flavoured, plenty of different flavours available, and either still or slightly fizzy. Do you like water flavoured with cordials. Then again there are fruit juices of numerous types. Perhaps you might like milk, either warm or cold.

Fruit juices aren't a good alternative as they are loaded with sugar and you might as well be eating a candy bar as each glass full has as many calories and just as empty of nutrition as what good stuff might have been in it has been filtered away.
I found that if I put the little flavored drink packets in my water I drink more. It helped me lose weight as it has no calories in it and I was able to get the recommended amount of water down.
I cannot drink water unless it is very very cold and then I find I only sip it and it often just sits beside me. But if I put one of the flavored powder drink things I mentioned suddenly the glass is empty as I pick it up and drink it. (I am sitting at my computer)
This is what I am talking about

Your body NEEDS water to be healthy. The flavored water is great in satisfying the body's requirements. At least half of your daily intake of fluids should be water. You can make up the rest in other fluids and some of the foods you ingest. You could try putting fresh lemon or lime in your water. Hope this has been helpful.

Is it that you don't like your tap water?
Water is the BEST thirst quencher! And the most healthy for you! Keep trying - I fill up a glass of bottled water with ice to the top, and drink about 7-8 of them daily.
Maybe really cold would help the taste? Or add a squeeze of lemon.

Drink as much water as possible. This will help you to feel fresh always. Drinking soft drink, tea or coffee is no good compared to water.

I hate regular water too. However, I enjoy flavoured water. Make sure you get the kind without the calories.

So what? Everyone has something they don't like. I hate water too, we do not "need" water, it is possible we somehow survive without it, don't drink it if you don't want to, drink what you want.

one element you're able to do is detect flavored liquid stevia on your water, assuming you like flavored water. SweetLeaf style has 14 flavors with 0 energy, 0 carbs, and 0 GI. in my opinion i might stay removed from Splenda for motives I won't get into spectacular now, yet once you choose to be attentive to them, you are able to ask. I want only ingesting ice water--i do no longer look after flavored water, yet some do who do no longer look after water like your self. only make certain you do drink water and shop hydrated during the day. you rather shouldn't wait till you're thirsty--this implies you're dehydrated.
