he told my frnd that he was not interested in such things. but i think he also loves me from his behavior.he always looks at me and i see only love in his eyes for me. he wants admission in best medical college.I am also intelligent & want to become a doctor .so may be he is neglecting me for that.i gifted him perfume on his his birthday & he accepted it. i am very very priety .many boys in college loves me. but i want only A. A student who has his mind set on medical school is probably not going to invest much time in a close personal romantic relationship. He is more than likely focusing most of his intentions on this lofty long-range goal. That's a great thing and you should encourage him to stick with that.
If you really care about him, remain his friend, but I wouldn't pursue romance or try to complicate his life anymore than it already is. If you do eventually appeal to him, then great! If not, don't hold it against him. In other words seek friendship before romance. This is going to require some patience on your part, because it appears to me that you may be a little enfatuated with him right now. Give it time...

One fact you should know is that you don't just comfirm that he loves you just by seeing it on his face, he accepting gifts from you is not also a guarantee that he loves you. Don't hurt yourself. I believe you are a adult so it is not out of place for you to tell him that you love him and see his reaction. He might be a shy person who does not like to make the first move. So you make the first move and get cleared of all doubts, best of luck.

he may have some other goals to achieve first or some other reasons

Haven't it occur to you that maybe he is just being friendly and not inlove with you. Some guys are like that... and besides, why are you torturing yourself? ASK HIM... you two are both adults, instead of thinking all day if he has feelings for you, why don't you ask him yourself? cause if you don't, you will just be on that depression state forever... go girl!
