i had my way, you would get nothing after 6 months, there is so much work out there and so many people unwilling to take it.
Get off your.a... , get off the net, get working and contribute to the country. I hope you don't have kids, now or in the future. What a cra.. example of parents you would make.
A sliding scale
1-3 Months Full Amount
4 Months 75%
5 Months 50%
6 Months 25%
6+ Months 000
As you feel the pinch you might bother yourself.

I'm sorry that you've received some unjust replies, you were merely asking a simple question about benefit rates, not how to scrounge. Rates are complex, as there are contribution based and non contribution rate options and can also affected by savings.
The citizens advice bureau - CAB - is probably your best bet. I've not found rates from April 2007 though, after trawling their site, UK government sites and the net.
Some of the CAB offices provide advice by email, so you may find a local one that could do this, to prevent waiting times etc.
Look up from your address, to find the nearest :
http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk
It's infuriating how difficult this information is to find, as it's just a few weeks from changing. I don't know whether the budget before it, will affect rates and that's why they may not be published.
Good luck! Rob

instead of worrying about how much benefit you're gonna get, why don't you look for a job. its called JOB SEEKERS allowance for a reason, you're supposed to be seeking one.
