The blue is not a Calico but is a member of the tricolor family. Calico coloring is black, red/orange and white only. The blue is commonly referred to as a blue cream, not a Calico. Calico, Blue Cream, Tortoise Shell are all members of the tri or multiple colored cat color family.
In a true Calico, 1 in 10,000 will be male that is not sterile. Approx 1 in 3000 cats in the tri coloring is male. These cats have no value. Breeders will not introduce this male into breeding do to health issues.

Male cats can be calicos too. but it is very very very very very rare. Get the mother cat spayed right away and the kittens spayed when they are about 12-14 weeks. There are way to many amazing cats out there that need homes. Do the right thing. Good luck

Contrary to popular belief, there ARE male calicos, and they are not as rare or valuable as they've been touted.

Yes, the gene is rare in male cats, and they are usually quite sterile as a result, but it happens more often than people expect and there is really no significantly high market value for such specimens, especially since they are usually not able to breed.

Enjoy your male calicos, though. I'm sure they're gorgeous.
