you can help it out and rub it with a toawl.
she may be having a dificult birth and may need a c-section.

im sorry but i agree with verminki why on earth are you sat at your pc asking people on yahoo answers are we all vets ?? ERM NO! you should have called the vet as soon as you saw the signs of labour if you didnt know what you are doing , now you have to live with yourself for not doing the right thing by the pup and the mother imagine if you was in labour for 3-4 hours and your babies head was stuck between your legs the amount of pain you would be in you wouldnt like it one bit y do you think that you dog does ffs get a life and please do not attempt this again for god sake the poor dog
i think you are cruel !

you need to get her to a vet ,the pups may be to large to deliver..unless the next one comes with in the next hour you major problem!!!!! the first was probably stuck to long and no way to save it. after the first one is thru it shouldn't take more than an hour for the next to deliver. if the second one came ok and the rest are coming regular you are ok....other wise run to the vet fast!

Hello Olivia s.
Call the vet and get your information.
May be an idea to have your dog sterilized at a later date.
Take care!
