Green banana's have a low glycemic index, but the sugars change as they ripen and yellow ones have higher glycemic index. Think of the transition from green and hard --- to yellow and mushy..

The higher the index, the faster they are absorbed.

Things that affect speed of absorbtion, are how much you chew you food, smaller pieces, more surface area, faster absorbtion.

Also, drinking lots of liquid, dilutes stomach acid and slows things down.

Banana Digestion Time

Bananas as most fruits are fast to digest. They have a lot of potassium and magnesium which are good for you.

Bananas have a relative high Glixemic Index (GI), for that reason it is better to eat them in the morning or at lunch time, but not at night so you can do away with the "fast" sugar they have (so to speak).

I would guess that one or two bananas a day will be fine to eat per day, but every body is different. I would recommend to add variety to your fruit intake and some times have bananas and other have apples, pears, etc.

Hahaha are you taking a piss test soon? If you eat a lot of bananas, it will help clean the THC out of your system. They actually pass through pretty quickly and are good for digestion. I don't know what the hell that other person was talking about, and the sugars enter your blood stream way quicker than the sugars of a lot of other foods do.

Mustard is a secret bulge-buster. That boosts your metabolism and improves natural ephadrine, the hormone which burns fat. According to Jeya Henry, professor of human nutrition in Oxford Brookes University, just a tablespoon as part of your food can reduce a flabby waist by 20 %!

fruits are digested very rapidly as they are high in various simple sugars and lack sufficient fiber and fat.

on an empty stomach a banana should digest in 30-40 min

Bananas do digest slowly and release blood sugar very slowly. They are a good source of potassium too. They are high in carbohydrate so if you are wanting to lose weight you should not eat a lot.

Chewing your food thoroughly won't make digestion easier, but will allow your body time to recognise if it's actually full, thus preventing overeating.

Go bland. Plain, straightforward, unseasoned food such as barbequed chicken, plain rice and a bare baked potato are nutritious but your palette will tire of these quickly, unlike salty moreish prepared food, which keeps you snacking and piling around the pounds.
