i suspect that my boyfriend of 8 months is cheating on me....he claims to love me to death but that im just smothering him too much and need too much attention. but it never use to bother him earlier in the relationship. our sex life has kinda faded in the past few weeks and its also been bothering me but when i ask he jus says that he's too tired or has some other lame excuse. lately he doesnt want to answer my calls or texts and it's been driving me crazy....
i need some guy perspectives...
what makes a girlfriend too needy??...clingy??...do i just ask too much attention or is he trying to hide something on the side??
should i ignore this and see what happens or should i stop calling him as much and do some of the things he does to me and see how he feels??

Yes I think you are coming across as too needy.
Back off a bit and make him want you.
If he isn't already cheating on you and I suspect he isn't, your neediness will make him seek the attention of some other lady. Someone who doesn't need him as much as you indicate you do.
One of the good things to come out of feminism is that a lot of women have realised that they do not need to rely on the male sex so much.
Give your self a hobby. If you don't know what you like to do start exploring different ideas.
Get yourself some independence. If that means finding a place of your own then do so
Once you have something to occupy your time and you have gained some independence you won't be so dependent on him. Then maybe he will start heading in your direction again.
If he doesn't, well your new found independence and interest in other things will make you that much more attractive to other men.
Love is not a one off thing.

well.. you just need to take a break with him. when you stop calling him, he will call you. don't worry about it, and i know you will be fine regardless.
you love him a lot, and it is normal to have jealousy. so, it is okay to suspect, but not too much to bother him.
when u chase a dog, a dog will just run away from you more. instead, you can just do something interesting, and get a life to make him interested in you again.

More than likely he is trying to dump you without having to tell you that he is.
Try not calling him for a while and see if he trys to call you. Then you will know for sure if he still cares.
