i was with a girl for a little over 2 years. i had noticed in about the last 2 or 3 weeks of our relationship that things were really weird and off with her. she was acting different and real distant. i found out that she had gotten this guy's number at work and she also exchanged email addresses with him, which wouldn't have been that big of a deal had she not had his phone number too. the other day i sat her down to talk to her about this and she said that she didn't want to be in a relationship anymore and that she wanted/liked to be single. she also said that she wasn't in love with me anymore. this was all pretty sudden and out of the blue. do you think it's possible that she's seeing someone else?

i should note that she has told me repeatedly that there is no one else and that she doesn't want anyone else. that she just wants to be single. i just have a hard time believing that.

I think you could probably bet your bottom dollar on it. I don't even have to go into detail, because all the evidence is already listed by yourself.

Umm, what difference does it make?
If it'll help you move on then decide that she prob is, but I think she left you to enjoy freedom to possibly see this other guy, or not, but she's done the decent thing by the sound of things & cut ties before finding out whether or not she wants to get to know this other guy any better.
So to answer the original question I think she didn't leave you for him, but for the freedom to see him if she wanted to.

Most likely, and I am sure it wasn't sudden and out of the blue.. you probably wasn't looking when you should have been. So now it is too late to see cause someone else is looking at her.

Thats what they all say when they meet someone else coz they trying not to hurt you or feel guilty. She found someone, the fact that first she says she wants to be single then says she does not love you no more says it all. just leave her to be and move on bro
