when i try to play some movies like at places like i-am-bored.com theres only sound and this pinkish distorted screen and i only get sound ive tried re-installing but nothing works anyone can help me?

You may have to install some codecs to enable it to play properly. WMP is not able to play all types of files, such as rmvb, or avi files rendered using different formats.

You need a DivX codec installed on your system.

Install it from here,reboot your computer and try viewing videos again.
