my back is bad, and now its worse. I'm a CNA I'm always lifting heavy people at work. I need an rx for it. what kinds of meds will they prescribe. I was seeing a chiro for four months and he didn't belive in pain meds. he wants to do everything natural, but nothing was helpin

You can mostly count on a pain reliever and a muscle relaxer. I use Percocet and Flexoril when I have flare-ups and it works pretty well. Percocet is a narcotic, though, and so some doctors may not prescribe it.

Get some Codeine and some Endep- its what my doc gave me for my back and really you should be lobbying for mechanical lifters- here in Australia we have a "No Lift No Injury" policy- we let the machine do the lifting....Good luck hun.
