Could anyone recommended some good internet sites relating to the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder? Do you have it or know of someone that has it? What are your experiences? Do you take a particular medication or do you know of one that is effective with minimal side affects? Have you heard of or tried Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy?

My ex had it, and I most likely do(none of their other diagnosises have been accurate).
It is a combination of multiple disorders. Medications vary depending on symptoms. The best treatment is counseling though.

I'm not fully diagnosed, but I have some of the traits. I don't know of any sites online, but I'm sure you could find some on Google. I couldn't tell you exactly what my experience has been because I'm also bipolar. It's hard to tell what's from which. I'm on three meds, but they help a lot. I did DBT for a while and it takes a lot of effort, but it does work if you really get into it. DBT is the most common therapy for borderline, and the only effective one, according to some.

Just got diagnosed with it.. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is ment to be far better then taking meds.. Works better too. I feel bad for having it. my poor family friends an boyfriend.. They gotta put up with soo many mood swings i get in a day.. i'll suffer up to 10mood swings in a day.. like one min im happy then the next im just being B!tchy for no reason..
