if you are banned from driving there is no need for you to be looking for insurance.

Insurance premiums are based upon age, length of time driving, driving record, and location. You will not find cheap insurance, sorry. My daughter has been going through this same thing, and she's 24. She has a clean driving record, but has been driving less than 5 years, and lives in a large city. Her premium is almost $1,000 for 6 months! She shopped around, and got the best premium she could find. Perhaps you could check with an independent insurance agent. Independent agents work with many different insurance companies, and they will do the shopping around for you, and try to get the lowest possible rate.

Wow, banned huh. I can say that you would have to have had a lot of tickets or a couple of accidents before they will pull your insurance. Your tickets and accidents will follow you around for 5-6 years on your driving record so you will just have to pay more money for insurance till these issues are off your driving record.

there are quite a few specialist companies that cover banned drivers - you're probably best just googling it. My partner was banned and he looked at all the websites he found on google and rang them all for a quote. It's quite important to phone around and get as many quotes as possible because they differ a huge amount in cost
