Threre are four paths to attain Mokshya(Divine Unification) which are mentioned in Baghvat Gita:

1.Karma yoga (leading a life of doing things with good intentions)
2.Rajas yoga(All the Meditation techniques)
3. Bakhti yoga( prayer and total surrender to God)
4. Gyana Yoga( inqiury or knowledge of the illusory nature of reality or Maya)

Sri Krishna advices Arjuna on the field of battle to follow Karma yoga by doing his duty which is to fight. He also mentions that in all the four ways of yoga, Gyana yoga is the toughest to follow due to the illusory nature or Maya of the Universe.

And, Lord Krishna selects Bakthi yoga which is the easiest to follow which most people do by praying to God. Bhakthi yoga is the yoga of emotions. It is controlled cultivation of higher emotions. It involves the awakening, actualising and controlling of libidinal forces. It draws out latent emotional potentiality, arouses experiencial capacities and merges suppressions, repressions and inhibitions. The goal of Bhakthi is to replace fear by love..

I agree with mukesh. Shri Krishna stressed on Bhakti for those who have doubts or who are confused by scriputres.

But Krishna never said only Bhakti yoga is the best

In gita he has equally stressed upon Gyan yoga too

Bhakti alone may take one to fanaticism

Gyan alone can take one to dry intellectualism

So as per Gita a balanced combination of Bhakti, karma and gyan is the right path to follow

Lord Krishna selected bhakthi yoga as the course of preaching Arjuna as was not sure of his dharma and doubted the wisdom of the Lord who had to show him the ultimate in dharma and karma to proceed ahead which is the Bhagwata Geeta.

As per the answer to your previous question, Bhakti is the eternal occupation or constitutional position of the soul.

Lord Krisna is eternal (Sanatana), the soul (atma) is eternal and the Dharma (eternal nature) between the Bhagavan and the soul Bhakta is Bhakti-yoga which is also eternal.

Just as the Dharma of fire is heat and light, similarly the Dharma of the eternal soul is Bhakti.

Because by being a Karmi, or Gyani, you will feel the pride of your achievements, and will not be indebted to God.

Bhakti literary means surrendering to the needs of your beloved Krishn and making Krishn dance to your tunes.

And Krishn likes that!
