when they die, they'd be in heaven.. so being a christian i'd say my biggest fears are if they grow up and become a hater or sexually confused...

The greatest fear i had as a special need mom, is the future. The time that i had him is the start that i had fear for the future.I always awake in the middle of night thinking what will happen to my little angel if I'm gone.Who will watch him if I'm got older. What will happen to a boy who has worry of every thing. That all his life depend on me.

the greatest fear of being a parent is losing there children my friend lost 2 boys in the space of 2 years both of them were stabbed both around christmas they were lovely boys so if you have children dont ever let them go. try not to suffocate them but teach them well!!!
its sad to see so many children die or go through so much pain because the parents were scared to love them as much as they can or want to

I have 3 kids, one teenager and 2 toddlers. I, of course, have the fear of something bad happening to my kids but recently, with my 13 year old daughter, I realized I had another fear. Losing her emotionally. We used to be really close and she told me everything and now, it's like a stranger is living in my house. I am having to let go of her so that she can go out and make her mistakes and, hopefully, learn from them. My fear is that she won't learn from them and will continue to get in trouble, end up dropping out of school or failing, end up on the streets on drugs....things like that. At some point you HAVE to let go and I didn't realize it until recently and that letting go is TERRIFYING.

I have a few. My biggest fears would be that somthing bad would happen to my children, like getting really sick or hurt. I also fear that my children would not be happy for whatever reason (life happy not like couldnt stay up late type thing).
I also strongly fear that I would fail a mother.

Besides losing a child, standing by yours with any problem you can not help them with, and having to watch and support helplessly. Meanwhile putting personal suffering aside, that is the love.

as others pointed out already, having to purchase a coffin would have to be the worst. Having had to do that myself, I can unequivically say losing a child is more horrific than can be described. Its against nature itself, to live longer than your child.

besides death or getting seriously hurt. It would be not becoming their own person doing what they thought would make people like them instead of doing what is right . I am not talking about when they are real young but when they grow up to be adults.
