I had preg induced hypertension with my first at 34 wks, and preeclampsia with my second 26.3wks. Both resulted in immediate emergency, first delivery &second c-sect.

The drs suggested a specialist, he looked at extensive blood work to find a possible reason. Something about my body having an underlying problem that shows up while my body is pregnant (so to say "compromised and overworked")

Does anyone know of this. With a high ANA he suggested lupus, but didn't diagnose. Said come back if I have more problems. Yeah, hubby is done, no more risks for him, he was scared I was gone. (I was gone on Meds that I blocked out a bunch, probably good to stay low stress) He was wonderful

The only other health issue I have ever had was with muscle and joint pains. My asthma and alergies went away with a climate & environment change

Any ideas, resources, or experiences. I sympathize with unfortunate ones, I have one health baby girl, and one remembered.

I had a similar issue with pre-ecclampsia two times. The doctor just said to watch for future hypertension. I do have multiple areas of pain some diagnosed, some undiagnosed. I do have some Parkinson's like issues also. I have so many things, I just don't know where it all came from. I'm 33 now, but all my pain and other medical problems started six months after having my 3rd child five years ago.

I also had preclampsia with both my pregnancy's gained over 60 + pounds on each.

Here is a really informative web-site: I have also even called the Mayo Clinic before and have gotten to talk to a Dr. over the phone. Probably a rare occurrence but was very very nice of them to take the time for me and my question.
