Lust, I think is the most common. Sex sells.
Greed, is a close second. Money buys happiness.
Vanity. You cannot be socially accepted unless you are attractive.
Gluttony...is major in the US. We are the most obese nation in the world.
Wrath...The US also has the largest percentage of gun related crimes and murders.
Envy. Keeps the economy going. You see something that someone else has, and you want one for yourself.
Sloth kinda goes along with greed. Wealthy people hire other people to do the things that they don't want to do. Maids, butlers, cooks, etc. Its one thing that almost all wealthy people are guilty of.

PRIDE PRIDE PRIDE PRIDE. Think about it.
Frank Sinatra - My Way
And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final curtain.
My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I'm certain.
I've lived a life that's full -
I've traveled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Regrets? I've had a few,
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.
I planned each charted course -
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off more than I could chew,
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way.
I've loved, I've laughed and cried,
I've had my fill - my share of losing.
But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
Oh no. Oh no, not me.
I did it my way.
For what is a man? What has he got?
If not himself - Then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels.
Let the record show I took the blows
And did it my way.
Yes, it was my way.

Hmm, hard to say. I think pride, maybe? In this day and age, it's also hard to choose between lust and gluttony. I mean, the American divorce rate is 51%, which is pretty sad. Not all divorces end because of a misuse of lust, but my guess is that a good amount do. As for gluttony, look at us, we're the fattest nation on Earth!

They are all practiced so much in today's society, how could anyone pick just one as the most common. Greed, Vanity, Lust, and Gluttony are all about tit-for-tat. One's just as bad as the other. Wrath, Sloth, and Envy are just as common as the others. Makes you wonder if there will be a future worthy of existance soon.
