What has America come to?
America has went to hell.I have stuck up for America until today.My 16 and 9yr old was in a ATV accident.My 16yr old has alot of road burns all over his body.He has bandnages all over his leg with a half cast.I was told do not take off the bandnages until he see the orthapedic surgeon for his bad ankle.Well his leg is now infected.I tried to make an appointment for him at a clinic in Bryan Texas.I told them I needed to be put on a slideing scale since we do not have insurance.I was told that since he was born in the USA and is a USA citizen he can not be put on a sliding scale.They told me they only put the illegals on the sliding scale and told me with no insurance he can not be seen.I explain how infected his leg was and it has a bad smell to it.All the dumb person could say was he is a US citizen.Cant help you.Apply for insurance,we only put our illegals on the sliding scale.WTF am I the only one that see`s this as dicrimination? This aint right.How do I bring attention to this?

Sorry (its him),I really think you need to reread this.No where in my statement and question did I say there is just 1 clinic in Bryan Texas.And if you think you read that then you need to get a education to read better or you are full of BS.I only tried that one clinic because the hospital that treated my son Sunday for the ATV accident highly gave that clinic a good report and even said my son would be eligble for the sliding scale.Now reread this and see what a fool you have made out of yourself.

The first thing you must do is get proper treatment for your son. I'm from England and I asked a question on Yahoo Answers about health insurance in the USA. The question was "What happens if someone breaks their leg int the USA but has no health insurance?". Check out the answers if you can. Once your son's leg is fixed then it's time to get angry.
We have a similar problem in England. Although the medical treatment would be free, the National Health Service is starting to fall apart because of millions of immigrants and asylum seekers. Their medical, housing and employments needs are put above that of the indigenous population. It seems you are having the same problem in the USA.
Okay, what to do? Write or speak to anyone who will listen. Write letters to local newspapers, Congress man/woman, local politicians. Contact radio stations. I have listed a website that you may find interesting.

It is insane. They are closing clinics in Florida because they are bankrupt from illegals. So the care for our own poor is being taken away because of them. It's insane that they won't see your son. Sliding scale only for illegals? Most of the places I've lived demand up-front payment if you don't have insurance. I know where Michaels at......I was 10 bucks over the limit. !0 bucks. Took us years to pay it off while they lie and get it for free. All the remittences they send to Mexico should be paying for all the medical care they're getting.

I say speak up. Anything from letters to the Editor, to your congressmen and see if there is one of the people called "problem solvers" who intervene for people affected by unjust practices.

I can understand your position entirely. We were tryingt o have a baby last year. Our place where we work don't offer us health insurance and we cannot afford a family health insurance. Our income is only slightly higher than the medicaid's requirement so we're not eligible.

Now our baby is born and we have a huge amount of debts from the hospital.

When I was in the hospital, I saw a lot of illegals trying to have their baby. the hospital here in GA cannot reject anyone who is trying to have a baby.

With the illegals, they won't have those bills or debts because they don't have the Social Security# or any ID. So there is no way to get them.

So who is paying for all thier cost? Us, the taxpayers.

Sorry but i agree with its him. I don't buy your story, i've worked in a hospital before and if its an emergency they have no right to turn anyone out. And as far as this person saying that they only put illegals on a slidding scale then that's just absurd. And third of all i doubt that if they really said that,that you would be posting your frustration on here.Afterall the U.S is well known also for its lawsuits and if that happened you would be knocking down their door with about 4 attorneys asking for millions of dollars in compesation. so please go back to the drawing board and come back with a more convincing story.

Call the media, your congressman, anyone you can to raise a stink. People like that fear the light of publicity. This just goes to show one of the many problems associated with illegal immigration.

Try Medicaid. THAT is SUPPOSEDLY only for US citizens. Then send a copy of your bill to the White House.
