Our job is to sow the seed, it is God that waters it. Remember that Christ did not give up on any of us, that's what I remember when I sow seed on stony ground.

1 Cor. 3:5-6 talks about planting and watering a seed, but it is God that makes it grow. Just continue to periodically "water" the seed planted. But it is possible to over-water.
Also remember some people will never be receptive and if someone rejects what you say and simply wants to argue remember this verse: Matthew 7:6 - Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw your pearls before swine
Besides...if someone refuses and you continue to preach at them...you could be missing someone who is looking to hear God's truth!

Why not listen to people instead of preaching to them. then you might learn something.
The idea that your religious beliefs should be promoted to others is a fallacy introduced into Christianity from Zorostrianism. The Jews had more class than to take on that idea, but the Muslims picked it up and practiced it with a vengeance.

You shouldn't be. It's disrespectful to force your views down someone's throat when they're clearly not interested. Just put yourself in the other person's shoes and imagine how you'd feel if someone you knew wouldn't leave you alone about Lord Krishna.

Well christ told the deciples that if the word was not accepted "shake the dust from your sandals and move on." You should try to not beat ppl up with the bible. You wouldn't like it if they repeatedly tried to turn you against YOUR God....

If someone is interested it's easy to get into conversation. If someone refuses leave them alone. People around us know about Jesus if they want to learn more there are lots of possibilities.

If someone is not ready to listen you should be polite and respectful and leave them be. That doesn't mean you don't try again another day. Badgering someone to believe wont usually work.

why not try the good old fashioned christian way that proved so successful during the 19th century. burn their heretical place of worship destroy their idols, force them into the church at gunpoint. make land ownership dependant on church attendance. imprison or execute any backsliders. plenty of smiting hip and thigh.
"give me that old time religion".
