My Psoriasis is not as bad as other peoples , It flares up mostly during dry winter months , I try to keep it under control and it hasn't affected my self esteem too much.
I've been asked about it a couple of times , but brushed it off , as of last year it showed up on my leg and I have a tendency to scratch where it itches , someone asked how I scraped myself , I explained it was a rash that itched and stupid me was scratching it, never went further than that, it doesn't stop me from wearing shorts.
Only once did it bother me ( a comment ) from a former employer who I really don't like, flared up red almost looked like a burn scar behind my ear all the way around the back of my head , lower part of scalp .
I was like it's my body it shouldn't bother you, it should bother me but it doesn't, that was after I had gotten a short haircut, I don't know what he was thinking maybe he thought it was bad for business or that I might attract a negative comment, all I could think was CHEAP GUY, had worked for him for 4 years and was making just above minimum wage with no health insurance, I was a good worker and well liked by customers, had he really been that concerned maybe he would like to pay me a little better so I could afford some treatment.
My best friend also has the condition, I actually told him what he had years ago when it showed up like an scaly sore on his leg, I never thought his Psoriasis would get worse but it did and has made him feel real uncomfortable, he won't wear shorts , he'll only show me,well and his wife too , it would draw attention and I tell him all the time to try to get some sun therapy in his backyard where it's private and he can feel less worried of being spotted.
I sympathize with anyone with this condition, I have heard other peoples comments towards others and though it may be human to open ones mouth , it's best when it remains closed.
I use over the counter remedies , can never say they work 100% but they help , 1% hydrocortisone topically on affected areas and a variety of shampoos , from salycic acid to coal tar and the occasional Head and Shoulders. My condition affects my scalp mostly , I don't overdo it but I like to get some UV rays from the Sun during summer and yes I believe it helps. This runs in my family , both my Grandmother and her late sister had psoriasis , believe it or not once her sister was treated using some antidepressant and her condition mysteriously vanished ???

There's no shortage in brain dead FOOLS. At least they prove themselves not worthy of any attention what so ever.
