I don't have anything else in my name. I have applied for Visa, Old Navy cards , and gas cards. Can not get approval. I do have hospital bills that have a grand total 2500.00. Is this stopping me from getting credit cards. How can I build my credit.

You can ask a bank or credit card company for a "secured credit card." That means that you make a deposit into an account, for example, $500. Then you get the card and you start charging things with it up to the $500 limit. Make your monthly payments on time to establish some credit.

Also, for some lame *** reason, if you carry a balance, your credit score (FICO score) will be higher. Of course, credit card companies like you 'cause you are paying them interest.

I suppose you could probably get an equity loan or line of credit on your house (it uses your house as security, instead of cash).

You should talk to your local bank or credit union for the steps to take. They'll like you 'cause of your house!

IF YOU HAVE A JOB, WHAT KIND OF JOB DO U DO? CAN U BE MORE SPECIFIC? HOW MUCH DO U MAKE A YEAR? DO U HAVE A DEGREE OR SOMETHING?

Good luck, I hope you'll get approved next time so u can get some extra cash and pay your hospital bills.

the respond you will get maximum is "you ain't have been given a gamble!" do no longer enable that end you from looking however. go into the banks/lenders with a great attitude, and your economic background so as and spot what occurs. lenders are extra careful than they have been in the past this economic mess, yet they're going to nonetheless take a gamble if it sounds as though good. an option may well be possibly have a determine/grandparent help? 20% or extra down talks plenty louder the 5% too!

"Get a rewards credit card and spend anytime!

Reward credit cards reward you when you spend on the credit card. Normally, you can collect rewards through 3 ways.

* It involves earning cash back on the card, it depends on the amount you spend.
* Next one involves giving points to the customers. They can be redeemed for gifts like cosmetics, shoes, water heater, mobiles and other goodies which the credit card company offers.
* The last method of reward is providing airmiles. Airmiles are highly popular reward, as many customers like to redeem them for free flights or flight upgrades. Whatever type of reward credit card you opt for, carefully note the amount or rate at which rewards will accrue and also read carefully other terms and conditions.

Because you have a mortgage and medical bills you are a risk. if you have debt you dont want more debt by getting a credit card. Also if you pay off your medical bill, it will help.
