1) go to walmart or what ever big type of store is in your area and go to the craft section .. there you will find window paint.. it comes in little squeeze bottles get a few friends together and make personalized mirrors and then pick a place in the house where all of you will hang it... the memories you make will be worth the 20 bucks in paint!
2) if you like flowers and that short of thing pick some from the garden or once again at the local department store... with these you will want to dry them it does take time but its work it i promise.. for your best bet go with pansies and baby breath or that sort of thing. flowers that are to thick like carnations and roses dont flat dry well... to flat dry take a heavy book and open it nealy 3/4 throught the book and place a peice of paper towl on either side then leave this book in a cool dark place preferably with heavy things on top of it for about a week once they are all dry buy a picture frame to fit the mirrors you want to set up place the dry flowers on the glass in the frame and put the mirror on top then attach the back and place on any wall in the house that needs a little bit of a feminine side :)
3) if you feel like getting really artistic head down to the closest department store home depot etc... and pick up a container of glass etcher its a brownish color goopy stuff... and masking tape and a pack of racors.. go home and lay down newspaper and completly cover the mirror with masking tape then draw on or tape a picture of somthing onto the masking tape.. once finished drawing take the razor (BR CAREFUL!!!!) and cut out the desired pattern or picture using and old or cheep paint brush layer on a thick about of glass etcher onto the mirror... leave for 15 mins (or whatever the container says) for a layered effect draw one picture and let sit then re tape and draw and cut then let sit for 10 mins... this will make the parts you already did darker and the new pars lighter... try on a scrap peice first to get the idea!
good luck!!! have fun!!!

Try attaching some seashells around the edges, or put picture frames on them. Use a glass cutter and cut them down into smaller pieces, and if you have any wooden boxes with lids, glue a mirror inside the lid. Cut circles of various sizes, take 2 pieces, put some glue on the back of 1, put a piece of high test fish line in the glue, and attach the 2nd mirror looking opposite. Make several of these, and assemble them into a hanging mobile. Hang it up where the wind and light will hit it, and it makes an interesting light reflector. Just a thought! Use your imagination, and have fun with it!

If you have end tables, coffee table or your dining table you could put the mirror in the center to use a Coasters. And another idea you might would consider is haning them on the wall as a picture frame, add some buttons if it is a child. An Adult you might would put some kind of outdoor look or flowers. Good Luck.

Get window cling paper. It is like that clear plastic paper that adheres using static to windows. They make it for your printer. Print family photos that have been lightened in the same sizes as your mirrors. Lay the window cling over the mirror and you have an easily interchangeable mirror and frame!
You can change the pictures to fit the holiday for easy decorating! (ie, old Christmas photos at Christmas, etc.)

I offer a vinyl lettering which can be applied to the face of the mirror without damaging it...can be removed later...I mostly have them cut for home decor but they work great on mirrors and you can get creative and add designs, words, quotes, etc. to each one and give them some character. A beautiful application for mirrors and glass is an etched glass vinyl which when applied makes the glass or mirror appear to be etched... links below if you want to check it out. I don't have any pictures of the lettering on mirrors on my sites but I have done many of these types of applications and it looks beautiful...

Take an old window that has 6 or more window panes, remove the glass repaint, or if you like the finish leave it. Take the mirror and mount to the back looks really cool in a bathroom or anywhere the size of the window works, plus your recycling.

What would be great is to go to the craft store and get glass paint, glass etching (you can just rub these on) or glue glass beads from the floral department on them. My friend does this all the time and it is awesome. They have a lot of ideas there so go look at them. Small mosaics are in style now, too.

How about adding seashells? I am a seashells lover. So for me, adding seashells just come to my mind naturally. Either add frame, round or square, with flat shells like clams, scallop or cut shells. This adds some flavour to the mirror. Good luck!

instead of doing something to them, hang them in a clump creatively.
In my old apt, i hung 12 1'x1' mirrors together in a 3x4 matrix with little space between them. It looked a lto more fun than just a regular large mirror. Even though they're different sizes if you combine them in one large space it could end up looking very "artsy".
good luck.
On a side note if you really want to do something TO them. Use painters tape and spray paint and decorate the edges.
